Ebook Readers - Kindle DX Launch June 10
Amazon has announced that the Kindle DX, its large-format wireless Ebook Reader, will start shipping on June 10. The Kindle DX is already available for pre-order and Amazon says all orders will b edealt with on a first come, first served basis. Amazon announced the launch of the larger Kindle DX (9” x 7” screen) in May - it will sell for $489.Ebook readers are big business but Amazon is not having it all its own way.
There is the Plastic Logic reader, expected later in 2009. There is also the Sony PRS-700. The Pixel 3qi and also Google that is getting into Ebook sales although they haven't made an ebook reader yet.
